![]() Am I wrong in assuming that this product is an update of the L.L. I’d have been willing to pay a little more for better materials there. This item has all of the best features of Frost River’s fine line of outdoor products: excellent craftsmanship, durable materials, and that not-too-heavy/not-too-light sweet spot for classic woodsman gear. Man, it reminds me of a pack I had as a Cub Scout. that's the purpose for which I got it and it was great. I've been using it for daily hikes on a trail near my home, and carried it around LA for 5 days. I bought it thinking it was just a little smaller than I needed, but it's definitely bigger than it looks in the pictures, Perfect. Built very sturdily what a refined design! Carries stuff and rides great. Posted by GrowUpDaveyBoy on Apr 20th 2021 Dump out all the gear and use it for foraging. The access is great and will hold really good weight. I took too long before pulling the trigger on this one but couldn’t be happier now I have. It is cavernous and I pleasantly discovered it could hold more than I’d expected without being too much bag. The colors online do not do it justice, it is more of a dark forest green that is very handsome. This is a simple, fantastically built product that is quite likely going to outlast me in durability. I basically treat it as a man-purse while its comfort and rugged look still allow me to feel. I was lookin for a bag that wouldn't take over my whole back and still fit what I need (change of clothes, water, snacks). ![]() Size was perfect for a day hike or camping necessities!Īs a shorter fella 5'4 this is the unicorn of backpacks.
